Swimming Contest - Inter House Sports Meet 2020


The annual swimming contest related to the inter house sports meet 2020 had been held on 6th February 2020. Swimmers from 4 houses Bultjens, Dias, Edirisinghe, Ondatji had participated in the event. The event is fully organized by the school teachers and house captains. We wish all the best for the brothers who had awarded.

ලොව පුරා සිග්‍රයෙන් ව්‍යාප්තව ගිය Covid-19 වෛරසය හමුවේ සෑම රටකම සමාජ ආර්ථික ස්ථාවරත්වයට දැඩි බලපෑමක් ඇති කළේය. ශ්‍රි ලංකාවේ අධ්‍යාපන ක්ෂේත්‍රයට ද දැඩි ලෙස බලපෑවේය.  සියලු පාසල් වසා දමද්දී තොමසු සිසුන්ගේ අධ්‍යාපනය අඩාල වීමට ඉඩ නොදෙමින් විද්‍යාලීය තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණික අංශය විසින් විද්‍යාලයේ සිසුන්ට දුරස්ත අධ්‍යාපන ක්‍රමවේදයක් ලෙස Microsoft Teams යන මෘදුකාංගය ඔස්සෙ ගුරුවරුන් සමග සම්බන්ධ වෙමින් තම අධ්‍යාපන කටයුතු ඉදිරියට කරගෙන යාමට ඉඩ සලසා දුන්නේය.   මෙය විද්‍යාලයේ ආදි ශිෂ්‍ය නිශාන්ත මහතාගේ යෝජනාවකට අනුව ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ අතර මේ සියල්ලම සඳහා විද්‍යලයේ ගරු විදුහල්පති ඩබ්.බී. පියතිස්ස මැතිතුමා සිය සක්‍රීය දාකත්වය ලබා දෙන ලදී. තොමසු තාක්ෂණික අංශය භාර ආචාරිනී එම්.එස්.එෆ්.රිස්ලා ගුරුතුමිය ,ලලිත් ජයවර්ධන ගුරුතුමා, අනුරාධා විජේවික්‍රම ගුරුතුමිය ,චන්දිමා ගමගේ ගුරුතුමිය ,සුලෝචනා ඉශන්ගනී ගුරුතුමිය ඇතුළු ගුරු මණ්ඩලයේ නොමසුරු සහාය මෙය සාර්ථක කරගැනීම සඳහා බෙහෙවින් උපකාරි විය. මේ නිසා 5 ශ්‍රේණියේ සිට 13 ශ්‍රේණිය දක්වා සිසුන්ට තම නිවසේ සිටම සිය අධ්‍යාපනය ලැබීමට පහසුකම් සැළසිණි. මෙම කර්තව්‍ය සාර්ථක කරගනිමින් කොව

Annual Inter House Sportsmeet 2020 The annual inter house sports meet of St. Thomas'  College had been held on 28th February 2020 at the Uyanwaththa Stadium, Matara, Sri Lanka. On this day athletes from 4 houses participated in the athletics finals. All the players who had achieved victory were awarded. Apart from those the senior western band, eastern band,... etc. have performed their skills and gave color to that evening.
